No, the free trial period will not be extended as per latest purchase date. Free trial for all the cameras under the subscription will be applicable provided there are days left in the complimentary offer tenure as per the initial purchase date of the existing subscription

You will get the complimentary free subscription offer with every new Tata Play Secure subscription and on purchase of additional cameras under existing subscription, the complimentary tenure will be applicable for the newly added cameras provided there are days left in the complimentary offer tenure as per the initial purchase date of the existing subscription

If you purchase multiple cameras at the time of purchase of new Tata Play Secure subscription, it will be considered as multiple cameras under single Tata Play Secure subscription upto the maximum of 6 cameras and subscription charges will vary as per the camera count

If you purchase multiple cameras over different point of time it will be treated as different Tata Play Secure subscription every time you make a purchase and the subscription charges will vary accordingly depending on the cameras purchased with every new Secure subscription

Can I have partial cancellation of my subscription?

Yes. You can do partial cancellation of subscription. You can remove any number of devices under a particular subscription by calling the customer care helpline number. Your subscription amount for the remaining devices will get revised from the next billing cycle onwards Note: Post cancellation of subscriptions, it will not be possible to reactivate the subscription to the same cameras. Can I get Tata Play Secure subscription if my DTH account is de-active or temporarily suspended?

No. Tata Play Secure subscription is available only for our active DTH subscribers. De-active Account – Please recharge your de-active account to subscribe to Tata Play Secure. Temporarily Suspended – Please resume your DTH account to be able to subscribe to Tata Play Secure.

I am receiving a notification in the app that reads ‘Looks like your camera is locked’. How do I get my camera unlocked?

Please recharge your account to unlock your camera. If you have paid the subscription amount and the camera is still locked, please reach out to our customer care team.

What will happen if I stop paying the monthly subscription charge for the service?

Accepted Answer

If your account gets deactivated due to non-payment of dues, the device will stop working and the service will stop immediately. You won't be able to see live feed or receive intelligent alerts and you will also lose your video history.

No, cameras cannot be returned once purchased.

Yes. You can raise a cancellation request for every subscription. Please call our customer care number for the same. On cancellation, all the devices under that subscription will stop streaming live feed. You will no longer receive intelligent alerts or view your video recordings. Note: Post cancellation of subscriptions, it will not be possible to reactivate the subscription to the same cameras. You can purchase a maximum of 6 devices in one Tata Play Secure subscription. I However, if the camera installation is required in multiple locations, you will need multiple Tata Play Secure service subscriptions to manage the same. Your monthly subscription charge and one-time activation charge will vary as per the number of Cameras.

How will I be charged?

Tata Play Secure comes with an annual subscription. From the 2nd year onwards, you will be charged on a monthly basis (30 days) from the day of activation.
