Olympics Contest: Subscribe and Win.

Please read these Terms & Conditions of Olympics 2024 Contest (Contest) before entering the contest to be hosted by Tata Play Limited (”Tata Play”) for all Eligible Subscriber(s) only as set out herein below. These Terms and Conditions govern Contest.

Participation in Contest is purely voluntary and at the sole discretion of the Eligible Subscriber participating in Contest. To participate in the Contest, Eligible Subscriber may be required to disclose his/her/their personal information to Tata Play and/or authorize Tata Play to use the his/her/their personal information (any and/or all information any/all data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data). By participating in Contest, Eligible Subscriber explicitly consents to enable Tata Play receive and/or use and/or process Eligible Subscriber’s personal information for the purpose of the Contest and as per Tata Play’s Privacy Policy (available on Tata Play’s website). Further, Eligible Subscriber’s act of participation shall be construed as acceptance and agreement of Eligible Subscriber to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, Tata Play’s Platforms’ Terms of Use and Privacy Policy including any amendments and modifications thereto.

If you do not agree to be bound and/or comply with any and/or all Terms and Conditions set out hereinbelow and/or if you do not wish to consent for use and/or processing of your personal information by Tata Play, we request you to not continue with the participation.

Terms and Conditions

Eligible Subscriber(s): shall mean and include Tata Play Subscribers who meets all the below parameters.
1. Tata Play Subscriber(s) who have an active account status as on 8th August 2024 in relation to Tata Play’s DTH services and the active status is maintained for a minimum period of 1(one) month from 8th August 2024 who are Indian citizens of atleast18 years of age at the time of participating in The Contest.
2. Tata Play Subscriber(s) currently not subscribed to any of the following:
  - Sports 18 Channel(s).
    (Hereinafter referred to as “Channel/Pack”)
3. Tata Play Subscriber(s) will have to add the Channel/Pack to their Tata Play subscription by going to the Tata Play Mobile App and, clicking on the Button Add pack. Only then the subscriber will be enrolled for the lucky draw.
4. After adding Channel, the Tata Play Subscriber(s) needs to be subscribed to them for a minimum duration of 1week.
5. Tata Play Subscriber should have submitted true and correct personal information, including contact details, to Tata Play.
The Contest Period: The Contest will run for a period of 2 days starting 9th August to 10th August. 10 winners of the Contest will be selected from the Eligible Subscribers on a lucky draw basis at the end of the Contest Period (“Winners”).
Selection of Winners via Lucky draw shall be done, in a transparent and non-discriminatory manner as per the set process of Tata Play at its sole discretion, and the final list of Winners will be sent the goodies. Tata Play shall make maximum of 1 (one) attempt to contact the Winner on the contact details provided by Winner as per Tata Play’s records. In the event the Winner is not available and/or Tata Play cannot contact the Winner, Tata Play would select the next Winner as per the set process. Tata Play shall not be responsible if any Winner is not available and loses a chance to win the goodies.
You further represent and undertake to execute and/or produce any such further documentation that may be required by tata Play in relation to the Contest and consent to use and/or processing thereof as per Tata Play’s Privacy Policy.
A Tata Play Subscriber will become ineligible for participation in Contest and/or winning the Contest in the below mentioned events:
- If Tata Play subscriber drops the Channel/Pack before completion of 1 week.
- If Tata Play subscriber becomes inactive on Tata Play Platform due to low balance in Tata Play subscriber wallet.
- If Tata Play subscriber terminates their Tata Play account
- If Tata Play subscriber is bound by any contract or agreement that would not permit them from participating in the Contest.
- If Tata Play subscriber has resorted to providing any misleading information and/or misrepresented any information to be eligible for the Content including is a minor
- If Tata Play subscriber is a person with criminal convictions
- If Tata Play Subscriber is in non-compliance with applicable laws.
- If Tata Play subscriber fails to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions set out herein and/or under the subscriber agreement.
Tata Play shall not be responsible in any manner for Contest
Contest can be availed only ONCE for a particular subscriber ID.
Contest is valid from 9th August 2024 to 10th August, 2024.
Tata Play reserves the right at any time, without prior notice, to add or vary all or any of these Terms and Conditions or to revise, replace, wholly or in part the Contest or to withdraw it completely.
By availing and/or participating in the Contest, you hereby agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Terms and Conditions. You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless, Tata Play and its respective affiliates, advertising, and promotion agencies, and all its respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from your or any third party’s use (or misuse) of the Contest on your behalf.
You agree and acknowledge that the participation in Contest and/or selection of Winner and the goodies are non-negotiable, nontransferable and/or returnable.
Neither Tata Play nor the Channel provider guarantee the quality and/or quantity of the goodies to be awarded to the Winner. Tata Play disclaims any and/or all warranties and guarantees, express or implied.
Any and/or all incidental costs, direct/indirect, in relation to complying with the eligibility criteria for Content and for participating in the Contest shall be borne solely by the participating Eligible Subscriber.
You agree and acknowledge that Tata Play decision with regard to the Contest and the Winners shall be final and binding.
You acknowledge and agree that all disputes in relation to the Contest shall be subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.
You agree and acknowledge that the relationship between you and Tata Play is not confidential, fiduciary or other special relationship.
These Terms and Conditions are in addition to the Terms & Conditions of the Subscription Contract and if there are any inconsistencies between the two, these Terms and Conditions shall govern for the limited purpose as specified herein. These Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a modification and/or waiver of any other provision of the Subscription Contract. Terms used herein but not defined shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Subscription Contract
By Participating, you agree that Tata Play assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line-failure, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Tata Play and any of its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies shall not be responsible for: (a) any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, hardware or other computer or communication related malfunctions etc.; (b) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled, distorted, or damaged transmission of entries or failure of any Entry to be received by Tata Play on account of any technical problems or traffic congestion on telecommunication service provider’s network / system, the Internet or at any web site, or any combination of them, including any injury or damage to any Participant’s or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any content or material for Offer; (c) any disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Tata Play; (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest.
The Terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with applicable laws and the representations, warranties, indemnities and grant of rights and consents shall survive the efflux of time of Contest and/or the termination of these Terms and Conditions by Tata Play.
