Tata Sky Tamil Cinema woos Kollywood lovers across the country

In partnership with Star Vijay, Tata Sky offers a completely ad free line-up of Kollywood’s biggest and best titles

Chennai, 11th October 2018: Tata Sky, India’s leading content distribution platform expands its network of South regional content offerings with the launch of Tata Sky Tamil Cinema - an ad free, high quality movie viewing service providing the best of Kollywood films. In association with Star Vijay, the leading Tamil broadcast television network, Tata Sky Tamil Cinema launched a line-up of 100+ enticing titles, with some of the biggest blockbusters and celebrated actors. That’s not all, the ad-free service also offers new Kollywood movie premieres never seen before on television.

Launching the service in the city were celebrity Divyadarshini and Arun Unni, Chief Content Officer, Tata Sky. Tata Sky Tamil Cinema offers over 100 movies a year across drama, action, crime, thriller, etc. along with monthly exclusive movie Premieres of 2018. Subscribers can enjoy some of the biggest hits from recent years including Rajnikanth starrer Kaala, action packed crime thriller Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and Baahubali 2, among other popular titles such as Jigarthanda, Payanam, Thegidi and Thuppakki, Viswaroopam. Kaali starring Vijay Antony will premiere this month on the service.

As a part of this attempt, the bouquet already includes Tata Sky Bangla Cinema, Tata Sky Punjab De Rang, Tata Sky Marathi and Tata Sky Kids Cinema and most recently, Tata Sky Telugu Cinema.

Tata Sky Tamil Cinema is now available to all subscribers on #1502 (SD) at a minimal cost of Rs.45/month.
