The Tata Play Binge Netflix Combo packs will enable subscribers' access to Netflix content along with content from 22+ OTT Apps which can be accessed through Tata Play Binge Mobile App. Additionally, those subscribers who want to watch OTT on their TV screens have the option of taking the Binge Amazon Fire TV stick- Tata Play Edition or the Tata Play Binge+ Smart set top box powered by Android TV.

The price of Netflix and Binge Netflix Combo packs is inclusive of content and NCF charges, all of which are charged together on a monthly basis. Combo monthly pack charge gets deducted from your account balance in one single go at the time of subscription, and then on monthly recurring basis.

Can I remove OTT content or Linear TV Content from my Binge Combo pack?

OTT content and linear content are hard-bundled together in the Combo pack, i.e., the Combo can’t be broken into individual Linear and OTT components and you have the option only to subscribe them together as one single combo pack. In case you want to change the contents of your pack, you must choose from the available option on Tata Play Mobile App or Tata Play website

I have subscribed to a Tata Play Combo with Netflix, how do I start watching Netflix now?

You will receive the details to activate your Netflix account through SMS on your Registered Mobile No. once you are subscribed to a Tata Play Netflix Combo. You will also be able to see a message on the home screen of the Tata Play Mobile App to activate your Netflix account if you haven't. On following that link, you will be taken to Netflix website to activate your Netflix account.

You can choose either to use your existing Netflix account (if you have one) or create a new Netflix account by following the Netflix activation link that you receive post subscribing to a Tata Play netflix Combo.

If you don’t remember your Netflix login information, go to netflix.com/loginhelp.

If you see the message “Sorry, we can't find an account with this email address,” it's possible that you accidentally mistyped your email while linking your account. To resolve this, try the following:

If you are already signed into Netflix on a mobile or web browser:

Go to your Account.
Your Netflix account email is displayed under Membership & Billing.
From here you can Change account email, if necessary.

If you still can't sign in:

Use Tata Play Mobile App available or www.tataplay.com to

Yes, Tata Play Subscribers who do not hold Tata Play Binge+ STB, can take Netflix Combo Plans. Once they take the plan they can sign up to Netflix or use their existing Netflix account if they have one already.

How do I change my Netflix Plan as part of my Tata Play Netflix Combo?

If you wish to change your Netflix Plan, kindly follow the below steps on Tata Play Mobile App or Tata Play Website:

Post login, click on Manage Pack Tab or shortcut
Click on Modify Packs and Channels
Use Quick Add or Modify Pack Tabs and Select OTT Combo Tab
Select the Combo pack with your required Netflix Plan

What happens to my existing Linear TV content subscription if I opt for Netflix/Binge Netflix Combo pack?

Current compatibility rules will be applicable. If there is a complete overlap of channels between existing linear pack and the Netflix/Binge Netflix Combo pack, the existing Linear pack will get dropped. If there is a partial overlap, both the current linear pack and the new Combo pack will co-exist
No impact on DD Base pack, FTA packs or Tata Play Services pack

Question 12

I want to opt for the Hindi TV HD Binge Netflix Basic Combo pack worth Rs.809 per month, but I have only Rs.300 balance in my account. Can I opt for the pack?

Accepted Answer

You will be allowed to subscribe to a Combo pack when your Account Balance > Combo Pack Monthly Price + your current 1 day DBR. Else, you will be asked to recharge your account.

Post subscription as well, your Combo pack will get renewed after each monthly cycle only if Account Balance > Combo Pack Monthly Price + your current 1 day DBR. Else, your Netflix Combo pack will go on hold and regular NCF (on DBR) will be attached to provide access to whatever additional content you would have subscribed to.

What will be my recommended recharge value after I subscribe to a Netflix/Binge Netflix Combo pack?

Your recommended monthly recharge value will be the Monthly charge of your Combo pack + monthly charges of other additional/linear content that you would have subscribed.

Question 14

After I subscribe to a Netflix Combo pack, can I move to another Netflix Combo pack? Or can I move to a different Binge Combo pack from another Binge Combo pack?

Yes, the following steps will be followed during your movement from one Combo pack to another Combo pack:

Incoming pack MBR deducted upfront from account balance
Incoming pack activated & outgoing pack dropped, on immediate basis
Outgoing pack MBR prorated and credited for left-over days

Question 15

After I subscribe to a Netflix Combo pack, can I move to another Binge Netflix Combo pack or vice versa?

Accepted Answer

You can move from any Netflix Combo pack or Binge Combo pack to Binge Netflix Combo pack immediately when you wish to if you have the required recharge amount in your wallet.

If you wish to move from a Binge Netflix Combo pack to a Netflix Combo pack/Binge Combo pack/Linear pack, your drop request would be taken as a future dated request and your new pack would be attached at the end of the current bill cycle. The drop request can be raised through Self-care.

After I subscribe to a Netflix Combo pack, how can I drop the pack if I want do so?

You can raise drop pack request through Self-care, and an FDO (Future Dated Order) will be created which will drop your pack on pack's monthly cycle end date. Post Combo pack drop, Regular NCF on DBR will be attached.

Am I allowed to opt for Temporary suspension if I have opted for a Binge Netflix Combo pack?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may choose any date for temporary suspension after your current Combo pack's monthly cycle end date.

Question 18

I am already subscribed to Binge on my secondary Binge+ box (or, Firestick). What will happen if I opt for a Binge Netflix Combo pack?

Accepted Answer

Binge Netflix Combo pack will get attached on your Primary connection. The current Binge subscription on your Secondary Binge+ box (or Firestick) will continue as it is. The linear content which is part of your Binge Netflix Combo pack will get mirrored to your secondary connection on DBR basis (if you have opted for MultiTV Mirror = Yes). There will be no impact of Binge Netflix Combo pack on secondary box if you have opted for MultiTV Mirror = No.

Am I allowed to opt for Binge Netflix Combo pack on my secondary connection (if I am on MultiTV Mirror = No)

No, you will not be allowed to add Binge Combo Plan on your secondary box.

Question 20

I am subscribed to a Tata Play Netflix Combo, the info screen says that my account is inactive due to insufficient balance. However, I have enough balance to watch just the TV Channels or Netflix, why can't I watch?

Tata Play Combos are a monthly recharging pack and cannot be broken down into individual components. To start watching, kindly recharge with your account's monthly recharge amount.

The Netflix app on my Binge+ Android Set Top Box is taking longer to launch, I see a black screen for sometime and then the Netflix logo. How to resolve this?

We suggest checking the bandwidth of your internet connection. For ideal experience viewing experience, we recommend to have at least 4 Mb bandwidth connection for your Binge+ Android Set Top Box.

Request you to kindly check if your combo pack has the relevant Netflix Plan that provides access to HD/4K content.

I am already subscribed to Netflix through the Netflix website or another partner. What happens to my remaining Netflix subscription if I switch to Tata Play Netflix Combos?

Accepted Answer

You can choose whether to watch Netflix through your existing account or another account during Netflix activation post subscribing to Tata Play Netflix Combos.

In case you choose to watch on an existing active Netflix account, please note that your Netflix account subscription will align with the day on which you subscribed to the Tata Play Netflix Combo. To understand how the remaining subscription period of your existing Netflix account would be handled, kindly get in touch with Netflix support.

I am looking for my ESN no. for troubleshooting, where can I find it on my Set Top Box (Android/HD/SD)?

The ESN Number will be visible only on the Binge+ Android STB Under the below mentioned 2 menus (and not on HD/SD/PVR STBs)
