- Why are you removing JioHotstar from the platform? What will happen to my plan/subscription?
JioHotstar is not a part of Binge anymore as the new commercial terms offered by them would have forced us to take a large price increase for our subscribers. We regret any disruption this may have caused.
If you have a Binge Flexi plan, please select another app by visiting the Tata Play Binge app or My Plan Section on tataplaybinge.com. For all the other plans you can continue to access 30+ OTT apps.
- Will my subscription cost be reduced since JioHotstar is leaving?
The pricing for Tata Play Binge plans remains unchanged as the service continues to offer 30+ premium OTT apps. The removal of JioHotstar does not alter the existing pricing structure.
- I want to Cancel my subscription if JioHotstar can’t be accessible.
JioHotstar is not a part of Binge anymore as the new commercial terms offered by them would have forced us to take a large price increase for our Binge subscribers. We regret any disruption this may have caused. Tata Play Binge continues to offer access to over 30+ premium OTT apps. You can continue enjoying premium content from other OTT apps like Zee5, Sony Liv, Apple TV+, Lionsgate Play, Aha, Fancode and more.
- Can I modify my current plan or select a different OTT app in place of JioHotstar in my Tata Play Binge plan?
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan through the “My Plan” section in the Tata Play Binge app.
- What OTT apps are available for selection now that JioHotstar is leaving?
Tata Play Binge offers access to 30+ premium OTT apps, including Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, SonyLIV, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, Aha, ShemarooMe, and more. You can view the full list of available platforms on the Tata Play Binge app or website.
- Will JioHotstar come back on Tata Play Binge in the future?
Currently in Binge we have 30+ other OTT apps for you to continue Binge-ing shows & movies. JioHotstar is not a part of Binge anymore as the new commercial terms offered by them would have forced us to take a large price increase for our Binge subscribers. If we have any further information regarding JioHotstar, we will send the update to all customers.
- I have selected yearly/half-yearly/quarterly plan of Mega, which included JioHotstar. Now it is removed. What are my options? How you will compensate?
